Hello Simply Soul Family,
Looking at the picture below, which I took seven years ago, when I was in London, reminded me of a dream I’ve carried since I was a teenager, the dream of traveling the world.
Back then, I wished I made enough money to explore every place my heart longed for. For years, I worked very hard, and for a moment, I could afford it.
Then life shifted. I had my kids, and suddenly traveling became more complicated. I couldn’t go anywhere without them, and taking them along wasn’t always financially possible.
Last year, I went to Jamaica to celebrate a friend’s 50th, and I took my kids with me. That mini vacation rekindled something deep inside me, the reminder that my dream is still alive. It whispered to me that it’s never too late.

So next year, I’m making it a goal to start by traveling within the United States, exploring all 50 states, whether solo or with my kids when life allows.
Now that I’ve entered my fifth decade, I want to open myself up to the things I love, the places I want to see, the cultures I want to learn, and the adventures waiting for me.
My heart is ready, my spirit is open, and my dreams deserve space again.
Do you have a place you wish to visit?
Thanks for stopping by my blog today.
Xoxo

London is such a beautiful city; it’s lovely to hear about revisiting those dreams later in life. I found some interesting insights on travel planning for older adults which could be helpful for others with similar aspirations.
